’s contest, which required to make “your own unique version of Kaboom”, one of her pieces:

So... here’s my version...? I had planned something closer to the original, colored with Copic markers, but I started doodling digitally and this started to emerge, so I decided to go along with it, and post it anyway XD

So I take this as a new piece inspired by Kaboom rather than a remake of Kaboom in my style XD
I guess it's some sort of self-portrait, a representation of my funky side!

I haven’t used such flashy and rainbowy colors in years! Feels great! Though I shall only paint like this sparsely, as I think my eyesight degraded a bit from working on this...

This was an experimental piece, meant to try blending my painting style and my drawing style together.

Textures from cgtextures.com, mayang.com/textures, and ~gimei, plus a few I made myself.
